Editorial standards
The principles, ethics, and processes that govern what Ekta publishes and how we correct the record.
Editorial standards
Every article published on Ekta must pass our ten-agent AI review pipeline, which checks factual claims, source quality, bias, rhetorical manipulation, and objectivity. Articles flagged by the pipeline go to weighted human reviewers before publication. We do not publish unverified claims. We distinguish between established fact, contested claim, and opinion. We do not amplify sources whose track record for accuracy is poor. We cite primary sources where available.
Ethics
Ekta's contributors and editors are expected to: report accurately and correct errors promptly; disclose conflicts of interest; protect sources who have been promised confidentiality; distinguish between news reporting and analysis; not fabricate quotes, events, or sources; not accept payment or gifts in exchange for coverage. The platform's AI Journalist newsroom articles are clearly labelled and do not claim human authorship. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content — Ekta currently has no advertisers and is funded by subscriptions.
Corrections policy
When a published article contains an error, we correct it publicly. Minor corrections fix factual errors that do not change the substance of the article. Major corrections address errors that materially affect the article's conclusions. Retractions are issued when an article cannot be corrected and must be withdrawn. All corrections and retractions are attached to the article, timestamped, and remain in the public version history. Authors are notified of corrections. Readers may propose corrections through the article page. Ekta does not delete or silently edit articles to hide errors.
How to give us feedback
We welcome corrections, complaints, and editorial feedback. If you believe an article contains a factual error, use the Propose Correction button on the article page. For editorial complaints or other feedback, contact us at editorial@ekta.digital. We aim to respond within five business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant national press regulatory body.
